Product Description
High-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters are mainly used to capture tiny particles, bacteria, viruses and other pollutants with a diameter of 0.3 micrometers and above, significantly improving air cleanliness. Internationally, standards such as the IEST (Institute of Environmental Science and Technology) in the United States and EN 1822 in Europe have strict regulations on indicators such as filtration efficiency. Common filtration efficiency levels are above 99.97%. HEPA filters mainly filter airborne particles through sieving, inertial collision, diffusion, electrostatic adsorption, etc., ensuring air cleanliness. During operation, dusty air enters, particles larger than the fiber gap are intercepted by sieving; larger particles deviate from the airflow due to inertia and collide with fibers to be captured; tiny particles move by Brownian motion and come into contact with fibers to be adsorbed; electrostatic filters can also attract charged or polarized particles, and after multiple filtrations, clean air is discharged.
